What is an Extended Deep Plane Facelift?

An Extended deep plane facelift releases
the SMAS muscles with the skin attached 
and repositions them accordingly. 

Dual Plane Facelift is also almost same as above;
it releases the SMAS muscles with the skin attached
and repositions them accordingly.

It's just called by various names depending on the 
doctors who operate.



Extended Deep Plane lift and Dual Plane facelift
the primary KEY is that 
it raises the skin and SMAS layers separately 
rather than together. 

Both Dual Plane Facelift and extended deep plane facelifts 
target the lower two-thirds of the face and 
address sagging skin, excess fat, jowls, 
and loss of volume in the cheeks. 
Both approach 
also improves the 
appearance of the neck.

modified version of the extended deep plane
or dual plane facelift: 3-Stage dissection SMAS layers
